Salty snack mix. Fuzzy bath robes. One-of-a-kind bourbon.
Mattresses, tea sets and bedsheets.
Yep, you can take home some of your favorite parts about staying
at French Lick Resort.
You may not have realized you can buy these for yourself,
but here’s a couple things about the resort experience you can purchase and
enjoy after your visit here.
Bathrobes
Can you ever have an overabundance of comfy gear to lounge
around in? Doubtful. You can buy the same bathrobes used in our spas and guest
rooms to make every day feel like a resort getaway.
French Lick Springs Hotel bathrobes (one size fits
all) are sold at both the Spa at French Lick and the Signature Shop.
The Spa at West Baden also sells the bathrobes that are used in the
spa and the guest rooms at West Baden Springs Hotel. The West Baden robes are
like wearing a hug — warm, fuzzy, and huge. These are 4X size, so for someone
with a smaller frame, some other skin care or body care item from the spa’s
shop would probably be more your speed. The Spa at French Lick also carries several of the products that are used in their treatments, including
facial products from Eminence, Farmhouse Fresh, Dr. Dennis Gross and Circadia,
and nail polish by Dazzle Dry.
Snack Mix
This one might seem a little odd. But if you’ve ever downed
handful after handful of the addictive snack mix served at Ballard’s in the Atrium
and Ballard’s Bar, you definitely understand why some guests love stocking up
on this for their pantry at home.
There’s two ways to get your hands on this. Pick up a
4-ounce package of it at Xanadu Coffee & Creamery in West Baden Springs
Hotel. And if you’re craving it in bulk, you’re in luck. Ask at Ballard’s, and
you can pick up a 10-pound box of it. That may sound like overkill … but have we
mentioned how addicting this stuff is?
Signature Bourbon
A salty snack deserves a good drink. And each of our hotels
has a
special spirit all their own.
Bourbon lovers, rejoice: Not only can you enjoy our Woodford
Reserve Personal Select and Maker’s Mark 46 Private Select here on property,
but these signature bourbons are also sold by the bottle. The resort’s food
& beverage team visited Kentucky’s bourbon country to select the perfect
blend that appeals to all palates — men tend to want that trademark bourbon “burn,”
and women like something more subtle and sweet. This select bourbon is the best
of both worlds.
Each bottle comes with an engraved glass, and you can
purchase the Woodford and Maker’s separately or as a set. Purchase it through
in-room dining at French Lick Springs Hotel, or at Ballard’s Bar at West Baden
Springs Hotel. The bourbon lover in your life will raise a glass to you for it.
Tea sets
After you’ve enjoyed Afternoon Tea in the West Baden
Springs Hotel atrium, take home the same accessories for your own tea party at
home. West Baden tea pots and full sets are available in the West Baden
Mercantile, along with nearly 40 varieties of the Tea Forte brand teas that you
sip at Afternoon Tea.
Mattresses and
Bedding
You wouldn’t believe how many comments and inquiries we get about
the mattresses in the rooms at West Baden Springs Hotel. So much so, that we
started working with the manufacturer to bring these custom-made
West Baden mattresses to retail. They’re the perfect balance of supportive
and plush, and you can purchase one at nearly
30 different locations in central and southern Indiana and Kentucky.
Other bedding products from both French Lick and West Baden
have become popular sellers recently. The West Baden mercantile stocks king and
queen sized sheet sets plus the same style comforters and pillows that are in
rooms. French Lick Springs Hotel’s Signature Shop carries pillows, pillowcases,
linens, and even the same towels and washcloths from French Lick’s hotel rooms.
(And at some pretty good prices, too, such as $90 for a king duvet and $81 for
a queen duvet.)
The same shampoo, conditioner and lotion from French Lick
rooms is also sold in bigger bottles at the Signature Shop, along with tons
more collectibles with the French Lick name and logo — everything from
specially made ornaments to walking sticks, wind chimes and flasks.
West Baden Springs Hotel is loaded with picturesque spots —
the towers, the dome, the gardens, the entrance archway, the gardens. Now they
can have a spot on the wall of your home or office.
Bloomington-based artist Adam Long has created several West Baden-related pieces of art that you can now buy in two different forms. Both the originals and prints can be purchased to meet any budget. Ask about them in the West Baden Mercantile.
