Enjoy a decadent dome under the dome! A dessert favorite at Ballard's in the Atrium, the West Baden Signature Chocolate Dome is full of chocolate mousse layered with chocolate cake in a ganache shell. Definitely an Instagram-worthy opportunity!
It's officially soup season! But have you ever had soup from an onion bowl? That's how 1875 serves its Five Onion Soup, made up of white and red onions, shallots, chives and leeks that create a rich soup base with a crunchy crostini and melted Gruyere and parmesan to top it off.
Gumbo | Power Plant Bar & Grill
Pluto's Pizzeria | Calzone and Stromboli
Pictured on the right (but everything in this photo is comfort food-worthy) is Power Plant's Gumbo, a warm bowl full of shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage in a spicy tomato vegetable broth topped with rice and fried okra. A classic Southern favorite with a Power Plant spin.
Cheesy grits layered with Gulf shrimp and surrounded by a light etouffee is one of the most popular dishes at Hagen's. Creamy goodness combined with delectable shrimp make this a comfort food staple any time of year!
(Please note that Hagen's will be closed January 2 through the first week of March.)
It's too difficult to choose just one comfort food favorite at The Grand Colonnade Restaurant breakfast buffet, so we went with both the waffles and biscuits and gravy. Mini waffles are made to order and completely customizable with several toppings (blueberries, nuts, jellies and more), and the Southern style biscuits and gravy are fluffy clouds of pastry perfection with house-made gravy slathered on top. Either is the perfect way to start your morning off right.
The entire case at Pluto's Pizzeria is full of comfort food favorites (thin crust and Chicago-style deep dish pizza, calzones and strombolis), so choose your preferred route and you won't be disappointed! All made with our house-made pizza dough and full of the classic Italian flavors.

Is there a more classic soup than chili during this time of year? Casino Park Grill tops theirs with red onion and shredded cheese to fulfill your chili cravings!
