Foodie Friday: Spring No. 8 Deli

Enjoying an alfresco lunch poolside with friends and family, is there anything better? Since we are officially in summertime mode, our featured Foodie Friday is Spring No. 8 Deli, located just off the French Lick Springs Hotel pools. Dining available either poolside, indoor or outdoor, offering favorites such as salads, subs, nachos, burgers and other deli favorites are all on the featured menu of this Foodie Friday.
From left to right are the Nachos Supreme, Grilled Chicken Salad and Italian Sub, one of their newest menu items (that comes on a house-made hoagie). Their menu is small but mighty featuring fresh, filling entrees for everyone.
The Grilled Chicken Salad features Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, grilled chicken, smoked applewood bacon, cheddar and Swiss cheese. Light, fresh and perfect to refuel after a day of swimming.
What makes pool time (or anytime) better? Nachos. One of their best-selling items on the menu, their Nachos Supreme are stacked high with crispy tortilla chips, lettuce, tomato, black olives, jalapenos, sour cream, Monterrey and Colby jack cheeses and guacamole. Served with your choice of seasoned beef (pictured here), chicken or pulled pork. Shareable or keep them all to yourself (we won't tell).
Onto the drinks, specifically summertime drinks that can be ordered and delivered to you poolside (and this one in its own Insta-worthy "bucket")! Passion Punch combines passion fruit rum, amaretto, Sprite and pineapple juice. Enjoy your drink of choice either inside, by the pool or on their outdoor patio located just off from the indoor pool.
If you like piƱa coladas...you're in for a treat. This and all of your favorite cocktails (or mocktails), beer (domestic and a great variety of craft brews) and wine are available to enjoy either inside or outside.
Of course Spring 8 has a menu just for kids, you can peruse the entire (and newly updated) menu here.

Other alfresco dining options at French Lick Resort are ice cream from the French Lick Mercantile on French Lick Springs Hotels veranda, Xanadu on West Baden Springs Hotels veranda, patio dining at 1875: The Steakhouse, Lunch or Sunset Dinner on The Pete Dye Course at French Lick, and later this month Hagen's Club House Restaurant will finish its newly extended outdoor patio.
