Today
is National Mud Pack Day - the perfect excuse to go to the spa!
Mud packs (and facials) have been popular since Cleopatra’s time. This Egyptian
pharaoh was considered to have been the most beautiful woman during her lifetime and for centuries
after her death. Her beauty rituals included milk baths, sea salt facials and
body scrubs, and a grape facial with a rose-water rinse.
Take
