Fall Golf at French Lick Resort

We don't call French Lick Resort a "golf enthusiast's paradise" for nothing! At one resort destination, you can play on three legendary designed courses--The Pete Dye Course, The Donald Ross Course and the Tom Bendelow designed Valley Links Course. Going intothe gorgeous fall season, it's an amazing time of year to stay and play at French Lick Resort! Here's a breakdown to help you decide which golf course you would like to try next at French Lick Resort and reasons to add them to your autumn golf outing to-do list.

The Pete Dye Course
Legendary golf architect Pete Dye sketched this course on a napkin--literally (which you can see at the Pro Shop on the course)! Sitting on one of Indiana's highest points, the view alone is 40 miles of panoramic beauty. The course points narrow, the fairways are immaculate and rugged and the terrain is intense making it quite the golf feat to conquer. In 2015, the course hosted the Senior PGA,the annual Legends of LPGA from 2013-2016 and this year the Inaugural Senior LPGA Championship. Your experience is sure to be unique and memorable, albeit a challenging course in its own right.

The Donald Ross Course

Constructed in 1917 by world-renowned Donald Ross, this course is celebrating its 100th year this year! With Ross's signature bunkers and flat bottoms, this course has been ranked as one of the best public courses in the U.S. Complete with Hagen's Club House Restaurant (where you can catch an incredible view of the course on the veranda), they are famous for their BBQ and stellar views of the greens.

The Valley Links Course
French Lick Springs Hotel original, built by Tom Bendelow, is a fully walkable 9-hole course in a setting that makes you feel like you're strolling through a gorgeous park. With strategically placed bunkers, golfers of any skill level are always welcome to play (especially because it was designed with families in mind)!
FootGolf is also offered on the course--an exciting and fun golf and soccer hybrid sport that is enjoyed by all ages! The traditional golf rules apply, but instead of clubs, you use your feet to kick a soccer ball!
